Disclosed is a panel imprinting apparatus for a vehicle. The disclosed panel imprinting apparatus for a vehicle may comprise: (i) a base member; (ii) an imprinting pin installed to reciprocate in an up and down, forward and backward, or left and right directions with respect to a base member, and imprinting a predetermined letter on the panel which is a metal material; and (iii) a laser irradiation unit installed to reciprocate in a longitudinal direction of the panel on the base member, and irradiating a laser beam on an imprinting portion of the panel to reduce strength of the imprinting portion. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are the panel imprinting apparatus for a vehicle and a control method thereof, which is able to imprint and process a vehicle identification number on a vehicle body panel with a scribing method. |
