PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus capable of improving a detection performance of own placed state.SOLUTION: The portable electronic apparatus includes: a first sensor that detects a proximity relative to own unit; a second sensor that detect a biological reaction; and a control section that, when the first sensor detects a proximity to the own unit and when the second sensor detects a biological reaction, determines that the own unit is placed in a storage part formed in a wear.
