PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce quality deterioration of a transmission signal, even if a transmission error occurs on a transmission line, without securing a surplus band beforehand.SOLUTION: A transmission system includes a transmitter 3 and a receiver. The transmitter includes: an important packet storage part 14 which stores an important packet until an importance storage period elapses; a transmission control part 11 by which a null packet is replaced with a re-transmission important packet that is the important packet stored in the important packet storage part 14, and transmitted to a transmission line 4; and a transmission error detecting code adding part 11 for adding a transmission error detecting code to a packet to be transmitted. The receiver includes: a transmission error detection part 15 for discriminating the presence/absence of transmission error by checking the transmission error detecting code in the packet received from the transmission line 4; a packet storage part 17 which stores the received packet for an output standby period; a re-transmission important packet replacing part 16 for replacing an important packet which is stored in the packet storage part 17 and in which transmission error is detected, with the re-transmission important packet; and a reception signal output part 18 that outputs a packet of which the output standby period elapses from the storage in the packet storage part 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
