Provided is a liquid crystal display device, comprising a liquid crystal panel (1) and a collimated light-emitting backlight module (3); the liquid crystal panel (1) comprises a color filter substrate (11), an array substrate (13), and a liquid crystal layer (12); the upper surface of the color filter substrate (11) is provided with an upper polarizer (15), and the lower surface of the array substrate (13) is provided with a lower polarizer (17); the collimated light-emitting backlight module (3) comprises a light guide plate (31), a backlight (33), an optical film assembly (35), and a bottom reflective plate (37); the upper polarizer (15) is provided with a viewing angle diffusion film (19), and the optical film assembly (35) comprises a polarizing beam-splitting film (351), the polarizing beam-splitting film (351) comprising a brightness enhancement film (352) having a prism structure, and an optical film (353) or polymer coating (353) having a high coefficient of refraction. The liquid crystal display device has significantly improved light transmittance and light output efficiency, and effectively solves the problem of color shift at wide viewing angles. |
