Provided is an anti-corrosion system that can be readily placed even on existing pipes so as to prevent MIC in an MIC-susceptible part, such as a weld or gap, of any type of pipe for pumps, seawater desalination plants, electric generating plants. The anti-corrosion system for protecting a steel material with a weld or gap against microbial corrosion is characterized in that the steel material has a liquid contacting portion at which the weld or gap contacts a liquid, the anti-corrosion system is provided with an ultrasonic wave application means for applying ultrasonic waves to a non-liquid contacting surface of the weld or gap of the steel material, and the ultrasonic wave application means applies ultrasonic waves with a frequency of 100 kHz or less. |
