The present invention relates to a wireless charging apparatus for controlling a vehicle according to passenger preferences and a method thereof. The wireless charging apparatus may include a sensor module which senses the contact of a mobile terminal, a control module which performs the wireless charging of the mobile terminal when the mobile terminal is touched, receives setting information from the mobile terminal, and generates a control signal for controlling the vehicle based on the setting information, and a communication module which communicates with the mobile terminal and transmits the control signal to the vehicle control device formed in the vehicle.
