The present invention provides an increased spatial resolution in a dynamic vision sensor sharing NxN pixels by reducing a pitch of the pixels. The vision sensor includes a plurality of pixel clusters. Each of the plurality of pixel clusters includes: NxN photoreceptors converting received brightness into a corresponding electric signal; a cluster differentiator unit connected to the NxN photoreceptors, receiving the corresponding electric signal from each photoreceptor and generating a photoreceptor differential signal representing a deviation of the corresponding electric signal from a differentiator unit reset level; a cluster comparator unit connected to the cluster differentiator unit, shared by the NxN photoreceptors, receiving a photoreceptor differential signal with respect to each photoreceptor and generating a corresponding pixel event signal representing a contrastive change to the received brightness; and a digital control module connected to the pixel clusters and sequentially reading the pixel event signal from the cluster comparator unit.
