The invention relates to an electrically heatable sheathed glow plug (1) with a housing (2), a support tube (3) which is connected to the housing (2), a ceramic heating element (4) which is held in the support tube (3) and which comprises a plus pole (41) and a minus pole (42), and an electrically conductive connection pin (5) which is electrically connected to the plus pole (41) of the ceramic heating element (4) via an electrically conductive contacting element (6). The electrically conductive contacting element (6) can be compressed and is arranged between the connection pin (5) and the plus pole (41) of the ceramic heating element (4), and at least the plus pole (41) of the ceramic heating element (4) and optionally the contacting element (6) as well are arranged in the support tube (3) so as to lie outside of the housing (2). |
