The invention relates to a mass-produced teeth-cleaning tool for cleaning all the teeth in an individual set of teeth at the same time by chewing and grinding with the teeth, the teeth being surrounded by a dense field of bristles and/or alternative cleaning means with a similar cleaning effect. According to the invention, the teeth-cleaning tool is characterised in that, in a basic position of a set of teeth open by approximately 20 degrees, all the tooth surfaces are covered by a dense field of bristles and/or similar cleaning means, in such a manner that even with slight chewing and grinding movements of the teeth, the bristle ends pass in a cleaning manner over all the tooth surfaces and tooth interspaces within a range of approx. +/- 1-3 mm, move in a cleaning manner into all the gingival sulci, and loosen and remove dirt. To this end, in the basic position, when the set of teeth has bitten into the bristle fields and is open by approx. 20 degrees, the bristles lie obliquely and with a surface pressure of approx. 150 g on the tooth surfaces and tooth interspaces, such that slight chewing and grinding movements are still possible owing to the flexibility of the bristles, the bristle ends passing over the locations to be cleaned in a cleaning manner as a result of the chewing and grinding movements. The surface pressure of approx. 150 g ensures that sufficient cleaning force is exerted without damaging tooth surfaces or gums. Alternatively, cleaning can also take place additionally or exclusively by high-frequency vibrations of the bristle ends on the tooth surfaces. The jaw opening in the basic position is as small as possible and the device in which the bristle ends are anchored is as thin and smooth as possible to allow the teeth-cleaning tool to be placed into the mouth and used as intended. |
