PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens that offers a wide view angle of approximately 67° at the wide-angle end, a high zoom ratio of approximately 100x, and superior optical performance over an entire zoom range.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises, in order from the object side to the image side; a first lens group that is stationary when zooming and has positive refractive power; a second lens group for zooming that has negative refractive power; a third lens group for zooming that has positive refractive power; a fourth lens group for correcting image plane variation associated with zooming that has negative refractive power; and a fifth lens group that is stationary when zooming and has positive refractive power. The zoom lens has a zoom position m that satisfies L3m/L3w<1.0 within a range of 0.0<M2m/M2t<0.5, and satisfies conditional expressions of -4.0<f4/f3<-1.0, 15<L2w/L3w<200.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
