PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus that is able to light on another LED unit working properly, even if one of LED units causes open failure.SOLUTION: A lighting apparatus comprises: one or more LED units 5-1 to 5-n, which are lit on by a DC constant current flowing from a constant current power source 2 connected to a commercial power source 1; and non-lighting avoidance devices 4-1 to 4-n connected to the one or more LED units 5-1 to 5-n. The one or more LED units 5-1 to 5-n have a plurality of LEDs connected in series. The non-lighting avoidance devices 4-1 to 4-n have: current detectors 3-1 to 3-n connected to the plurality of LEDs in series; and switches SW1 to SWn connected to a series circuit in parallel, the series circuit being composed of the plurality of LEDs and the current detectors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
