The present invention relates to an audio terminal (100). The audio terminal (100) comprises at least a first and a second microphone (11, 12) for capturing multi-channel audio data comprising at least a first and a second audio channel, a communication unit (21) for voice and/or data communication, and/or a recording unit for recording the captured multi-channel audio data, and, optionally, at least a first speaker (15) for playing back audio data comprising at least a first audio channel. The first and the second microphone (11, 12) are provided in a first device (10) and the communication unit (21) is provided in a second device (20) which is separate from the first device (10), wherein the first and the second device (10, 20) are adapted to be connected with each other via a local wireless transmission link (30), wherein the first device (10) is adapted to stream the multi-channel audio data to the second device (20) via the local wireless transmission link (30) and the second device (20) is adapted to receive and process and/or store the multi-channel audio data streamed from the first device (10). |
