A method for searching an acceleration structure according to an embodiment of the current invention comprises the steps of: (a) searching a leaf node intersecting with beam data in the acceleration structure; and (b) completing searching when there is no node including overlapped child nodes of parent nodes of the intersected leaf node, and additionally searching overlapped child nodes when there is a node including overlapped child nodes.
