Provided is a polymer electrolyte membrane for separating water and alcohol. According to the present invention, the polymer electrolyte membrane is formed of: an anionic polymer matrix; and a complex layer made of cationic metal or cationic polymer which forms a complex bond with anions existing on a surface of the matrix, and the polymer electrolyte membrane also contains graphene oxide. According to the present invention, by containing graphene oxide, the polymer electrolyte membrane can remarkably increase separation performance for a mixture having similar physicochemical properties to water-methanol. In addition, the method for producing the polymer electrolyte membrane for separating water-alcohol ensures the production of polymer electrolyte membrane without additional heat treatment, thereby being economical due to reduction in energy consumption. Furthermore, an increase in the separation performance is possible by controlling the morphology between unit lattices at a molecular level. |
