PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular cable assembly (1) that is easy to install and allows a high transmission rate.SOLUTION: A vehicular cable assembly (1) includes at least two unshielded conductive signal lines (2) and a connection region (3) in which the signal lines (2) are adapted to be connected to an external element, such as a terminal (5), and allows a data transmission rate of exceeding 100 Mbps (megabits/s). In the vehicular cable assembly (1), the signal lines (2) are twisted around each other in a region next to the connection region (3), but are untwisted around each other in the connection region (3). The cable assembly (1) also includes a shielding assembly (20) having at least one shielding part (7). The shielding assembly (20) includes a conduit-like receiving section (8) extending at least along the entire connection region (3), and is adapted to receive the signal lines (2) within the conduit-like receiving section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
