PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front structure of an automobile, which can establish compatibility between proper outdoor-air intake performance and pedestrian protection performance by a compact configuration.SOLUTION: A front structure of an automobile includes an engine hood 3, a front bumper 5, a bumper reinforcement 12, and an outdoor-air intake 8 that takes in outside air guided to an inlet 18a. The outdoor-air intake 8 is formed in a box shape having a front opening 8a opened forward and swelling to a rear side from a front surface of the front bumper 5 and an upper opening 8e opened upward. A fragile part 75 is provided in the front bumper 5 in such a manner as to adjoin an upper part of the upper opening 8e.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
