The present invention relates to a polyphenylene sulfide composition comprising the following constituents: a) linear or branched PPS, and, per 100 g of PPS, b) 50 to 190 g of a metallic hydroxy-containing oxide having the formula X3+O(OH) or of a metal hydroxide or a mixture thereof, and c) 20 to 150 g of glass fibers.
