PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap being higher in closability of a valve element and a trap body, and capable of arranging a support shaft in the flexural center of a valve member.SOLUTION: The present invention is constituted of a cylindrical trap main body 1a formed so that a lower opening becomes an inclined plane backward, a shielding plate 2 provided so as to cover the rear part side of a lower opening of the trap main body 1a and a valve member 4 for opening-closing a space part of being not blocked up by this shielding plate 2, and is formed as a drain trap 1 by being rockably journaled by a reverse surface of the shielding plate 2 or the trap main body 1a so that a clearance is not caused when its part is brought into close contact with the reverse surface of the shielding plate 2, and closability of a valve main body 4 and the trap main body 1a is enhanced. Thus, propagation of an odor and intrusion of an insect and a small animal can be surely prevented, and intrusion of smoke can also be prevented in a fire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
