PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound writing instrument by which writing can be performed while making thermo-chromic handwriting and non-chromic handwriting close to each other or in an overlapping state by use of a single writing instrument.SOLUTION: A compound writing instrument includes a plurality of writing bodies in a barrel thereof. The writing instrument includes: a thermo-chromic writing body which stores reversible thermo-chromic ink therein; a non-chromic writing body which stores non-chromic ink therein; and a friction member composed of an elastic body. Non-chromic handwriting by the non-chromic writing body is formed on thermo-chromic handwriting by the thermo-chromic writing body in an overlapping state, and then, only the thermo-chromic handwriting by the thermo-chromic writing body can be erased by frictional heat by the friction member. A final copy of an original made by the non-chromic handwriting can be obtained by rubbing, for example, a draft written by the thermo-chromic writing body with the non-chromic writing body.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
