PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and useful adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) expression inducer, and to provide a cosmetic composition with an ATPase expression inductive action.SOLUTION: The invention provides an ATPase expression inducer containing a phenylethylamine derivative or synephrine. The invention also provides a cosmetic composition (skin and hair cosmetics) for preventing reduction of a dermal barrier function, hypoactivity of skin epidermis, skin wrinkle formation, reduction of skin tension and gloss, rough and dry skin, and the like by being deeply involved in skin constancy through an adenosine triphosphatase expression inductive action of the phenylethylamine derivative or synephrine.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
