The present invention relates to a method and a device for estimating the discharge power of a secondary battery. The method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: setting the charging state of a secondary battery, the discharge power of which is to be estimated; causing the secondary battery to discharge a plurality of discharge currents and measuring discharge termination voltages corresponding to respective discharge currents; generating a current-voltage (I-V) profile that forms at least a point of intersection with a preset discharge boundary condition; and determining the discharge power using a current value and a voltage value, which correspond to the point of intersection. |
