An optical system (100) for capturing 3D images, the optical system (100) includes: a plurality of optical channels (100a, 100b), each optical channel comprising a main lens (109a, 109b); a lens array (103a, 103b) and a receive matrix (101a, 101b), the receive matrix (101a, 101b) being configured to create an elemental image set (300a, 300b) based on light passing through the main lens (109a, 109b) and the lens array (103 a, 103b), wherein a filling degree of the receive matrix (101a, 101b) is based on an intensity of the light passing through the main lens (109a, 109b) and the lens array (103a, 103b); and an image processor (300) configured to combine the elementary image sets (300a, 300b) of the plurality of optical channels (100a, 100b) based on the filling degrees of their receive matrices (101a, 101b) to produce a combined elementary image set (303). |
