A glove (10) has a lighting unit (15), a power source, e.g. batteries (14), and a switch (17) for operating the unit. The switch (17) is located so that it can be operated by the thumb and forefinger when in the glove. As shown, the switch comprises a pair of resilient conductive strips located in the thumb (11) of the glove. The light may be flashing. The glove may be used by cyclists for providing traffic signals or by traffic police in assisting traffic control. F igure 1 |
