PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning apparatus capable of swiftly starting positioning processing with a smaller power consumption.SOLUTION: The positioning apparatus 100 includes: a GPS processing section 2 that acquires an ephemeris data representing the position of a GPS satellite S and measures the position of the positioning apparatus 100 based on the ephemeris data when a user makes a specific operation; and a GPS control section 6 that controls the GPS processing section 2 to acquire the ephemeris data before the GPS processing section 2 starts the positioning processing based on a piece of history information including the time when the positioning apparatus 100 measures the position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
