PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic imaging apparatus capable of suppressing distortion of a photoacoustic image due to electromagnetic waves, while suppressing a loss of acoustic waves caused by a difference in acoustic impedance.SOLUTION: The photoacoustic apparatus comprises: an LED light source part; and a detection part that includes a piezoelectric element 22, causes the piezoelectric element 22 to detect an acoustic wave generated from a detection object inside an analyte that has absorbed light from the LED light source part, and outputs the acoustic wave as a detection signal. The piezoelectric element 22 of the detection part includes an electromagnetic-wave absorbing layer 61 that includes a magnetic substance so as to come into contact with the surface of the piezoelectric element 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
