Disclosed is a wagon and an end wall thereof. The end wall comprises several sub-wall plates (1) connected from left to right in sequence, wherein the sub-wall plates (1) comprise an inner side plate (11) and an outer side plate (12) both extending along the vertical direction, the inner side plate (11) and the outer side plate (12) are connected to each other, and a hollow cavity (13) is between the two, and the hollow cavity (13) is provided with a reinforcing rib (14). Compared with the prior art, a supporting beam of a plate and column type structure is eliminated, the quantity of components is reduced, an end wall structure is simplified, and the degree of manufacturing difficulty thereof is lowered; each sub-wall plate is formed by the inner side plate (11) being connected to the outer side plate (12), the reinforcing rib (14) is added between the two side plates, forming an enclosed box-shaped structure, having a higher strength and a better rigidity performance, and improving the safety reliability of the wagon usage; and each sub-wall plate can adjust the structure thereof according to requirements, reducing the dead load of the structure, and lightening the wagon.
