Disclosed is a refrigerator and a control method of a multifunctional compartment (12) thereof. The multifunctional compartment (12) comprises a flexible-freezing working mode and a drying working mode, and the refrigerator has a cold adjusting assembly for switching between the above-mentioned two working modes of the multifunctional compartment (12) and a control device thereof. The control method comprises: acquiring the working mode needed by the multifunctional compartment (12), and enabling the cold adjusting assembly to switch the working mode according to the required working mode.
