[Problem] To obtain an insulation deterioration monitor device capable of constantly monitoring the deterioration state of an insulator, and determining a degree of deterioration with a simple configuration. [Solution] Disclosed is an insulation deterioration monitor device for an insulator 3 that insulatively supports a high-voltage charge section 1 of an electric apparatus to a grounding metal member 2. The insulation deterioration monitor device has: a penetrating type current sensor 6, which is inserted into a connection section between the insulator 3 and the grounding metal member 2, and detects a leak current flowing from the high-voltage charge section 1 to the grounding metal member 2 via the insulator 3; and a determining means 8, which is connected to the output side of the current sensor 6, and determines a degree of deterioration of the insulator 3 on the basis of the value of the leak current. |
