PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information display device capable of reducing processing load for synchronization while synchronizing video and relevant information.SOLUTION: An information display unit 10 includes: a video signal reception part 11 for receiving a video signal; a video display time stamp value acquisition part for acquiring a time stamp value for video display, indicating a clock time to display video contained in the video signal; a video display part 12 for displaying the video signal; a relevant information reception part 15 for receiving relevant information containing relevant display information, to be synchronously displayed with the video, and containing a time stamp value for relevant display information, indicating the clock time to display the relevant display information; a relevant information display time stamp value acquisition part for acquiring a time stamp value for relevant information display contained in relevant information; a synchronization control for relevant display information part 17 for controlling synchronization by comparing the time stamp value for relevant information display and the time stamp value for video display; and a relevant information display part 16 for displaying synchronized relevant display information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
