PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum dot solar cell capable of improving photoelectric conversion efficiency by improving conductivity of carriers to a junction layer.SOLUTION: The quantum dot solar cell includes a quantum dot integration part 1, a junction layer 3 that is disposed on at least one principal surface of the quantum dot integration part 1; and a plurality of columnar carrier collection parts 5 extending from the junction layer 3 into the quantum dot integration part 1. The carrier collection parts 5 in different directions of extension are partially brought into contact with each other. The carrier collection parts 5 in the different directions of extension are partially joined with each other. The carrier collection part 5 extends from a root portion 5a closer to the junction layer 3, includes a release end 5b within the quantum dot integration part 1, and is brought into contact or joined in the vicinity of the release end 5b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
