PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antibodies against Cadherin-17, nucleic acids encoding the antibodies and therapeutic proteins, methods for preparing the anti-Cadherin-17 antibodies and methods for treating Cadherin-17 mediated diseases such as human cancer including colorectal cancer.SOLUTION: The invention provides isolated antibodies, including monoclonal antibodies, which specifically bind to Cadherin-17 with high affinity. Nucleic acid molecules encoding Cadherin-17 antibodies, expression vectors including the nucleic acid, host cells including the nucleic acid and methods for expressing the Cadherin-17 antibodies are also provided. Bispecific molecules and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the Cadherin-17 antibodies are also provided. Methods for detecting Cadherin-17, as well as methods for treating various cancers, including colorectal cancer, are disclosed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 35A-B |
