The present invention relates to a method and a system for providing LBS and RCS convergence-based smart shopping. The present invention includes: a first step in which a smartphone accesses an RCS server via a network, receives an RCS smart shopping application and then installs the application on a system memory; a second step in which the RCS smart shopping application transmits positional information to a smart shopping providing server at a preestablished frequency via the network; a third step in which the smart shopping providing server analyzes current positional information at the time of making a request for operating the RCS smart shopping among the positional information received from the smartphone at the preestablished frequency; a fourth step in which the smart shopping providing server determines whether the current positional information falls under one among a plurality of preestablished shopping zones based on information on each of the shopping zones which has been matched up according to a positional information area and stored; and a fifth step in which the smart shopping providing server transmits shopping information and supplementary service information based on the current position of the smartphone via the network to materialize the shopping information and the supplementary service information when the current positional information falls under one among the preestablished shopping zones. The present invention provides an effect of stimulating consumption desire by providing an RCS shopper with the differentiated shopping information, in real time according to the position, including merchandise coupon information, special price sale information, etc. by means of the RCS smart shopping application. |
