X-RAY TUBE HAVING METALLIC FILTER

The present invention relates to an X-ray tube having a metallic filter. The X-ray tube comprises: a vacuum tube; a cathode which is located on one side of the vacuum tube, and is provided with an emitter part for emission of electrons; an anode which is located on a remaining side of the vacuum tube with the emitter part disposed therebetween to be opposite to the cathode, and provides a target generating an X-ray through collision with an electron discharged from the emitter part; and a metallic filter which is disposed between the target, inside the vacuum tube, and the vacuum tube to be located on a propagation path of the X-ray. The X-ray tube provides an effect of considerably reducing manufacturing costs and manufacturing time of the X-ray tube because the metallic filter is included but is not attached to the ceramic vacuum tube, thereby eliminating metalizing and brazing processes required for attachment of the metallic filter. Furthermore, the X-ray tube provides effects in that an attachment process is simple and withstanding voltage characteristics of the X-ray tube are improved because one end of the metallic filter is attached to the metallic anode by welding and is located to be spaced apart from the metallic anode in order to prevent influence on a propagation path of an electron ray.
