发明名称 SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GAS TREATMENT
摘要 A system and process for the recovery of at least one halogenated hydrocarbon from a gas stream. The recovery includes adsorption by exposing the gas stream to an adsorbent with a lattice structure having pore diameters with an average pore opening of between about 5 and about 50 angstroms. The adsorbent is then regenerated by exposing the adsorbent to a purge gas under conditions which efficiently desorb the at least one adsorbed halogenated hydrocarbon from the adsorbent. The at least one halogenated hydrocarbon (and impurities or reaction products) can be condensed from the purge gas and subjected to fractional distillation to provide a recovered halogenated hydrocarbon.

主权项 1. A conservation valve for use with a collection system for collecting an anaesthetic agent, the conservation valve comprising: a valve body having an inlet port, an outlet port, and a fluid passageway between the inlet port and the outlet port, the inlet port connectable to a source of exhaust gas so as to allow the exhaust gas to flow through the fluid passageway, and the outlet port connectable to the collection system; a sensor located upstream of the valve body for detecting a percentage content of at least one particular compound within the exhaust gas, the percentage content of the at least one particular compound being indicative of the anaesthetic agent being present or absent within the exhaust gas; an actuator located downstream of the sensor for selectively opening and closing the fluid passageway; and a processor for operating the actuator, the processor configured to: open the fluid passageway when the percentage content of the at least one particular compound is within a particular range indicative of the anaesthetic agent being present to allow the collection system to collect the anaesthetic agent; andclose the fluid passageway when the percentage content of the at least one particular compound is beyond the particular range indicative of the anaesthetic agent being absent to isolate the exhaust gas from the collection system, wherein the at least one particular compound is not the anaesthetic agent.
