A mold connector (10) is provided with a terminal fitting (2) connected to a cable (11), a terminal holding member (3) consisting of a resin and holding the terminal fitting (2), and a molded resin section (4) that is formed by injection molding using a mold (5) and that holds the terminal holding member (3) and one end of the cable (11). The terminal holding member (3) has a body (30) for holding the terminal fitting (2) and also has a protrusion (31) formed protruding from the body (30) and having a front end surface (31a) in contact with the inner surface of a cavity (5a) in the mold (5) during injection molding. The protrusion (31) is engaged with an engagement section (521) provided on the mold (5), thereby preventing the movement of the terminal holding member (3) during injection molding. At least a part of the protrusion (31) is welded to the molded resin section (4). |
