A drain recovery system (10) (drain recovery device) which comprises: a drain flow down pipe (11) which is connected to a steam-using apparatus (4) connected to a supply pipe (3) for steam and down which drain generated by condensation of steam by the steam-using apparatus (4) naturally flows; a drain tank (12) which is connected to the drain flow down pipe (11) and into which the drain flows; a pressure-equalising pipe (13), one end of which communicates with a gas layer of the drain tank (12), and the other end of which is connected to the supply pipe (3); and a check valve (14) which is provided to the pressure-equalising pipe (13) and only allows the steam to flow from the drain tank (12) towards the supply pipe (3). |
