ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

Provided are an organic light emitting display device and a method for manufacturing the same. The method for manufacturing an organic light emitting display device includes the steps of: providing a lower substrate having a display area and a pad area; forming a thin film transistor in the display area, and a pad electrode in the pad area; forming a metallic sacrificial layer on the pad electrode; forming a partition wall on the metallic sacrificial layer by using a photoresist; forming an organic light emitting element on the thin film transistor; forming a passivation layer in the display area and the pad area; and stripping the metallic sacrificial layer. The method for manufacturing an organic light emitting display device according to an embodiment of the present invention does not require use of a mask for forming a passivation layer by employing the metallic sacrificial layer formed to cover the pad electrode and the partition wall on the metallic sacrificial layer. Accordingly, problems occurring due to use of a mask for forming a passivation layer can be solved.
