PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of effectively utilizing error information occurring by a fraudulent act, and to provide a method for managing the game machine.SOLUTION: A game machine comprises a sub-control circuit 70. The sub-control circuit 70 includes: a sub-CPU 71 for receiving a command including a unique code and BCC data encoded by a main control circuit; command decoding means 71a for decoding the received command; and error information registration means 71e for registering error information on condition of inclusion of an error factor in at least the decoded command. The main control circuit encodes a command by exchanging data having a plurality of bytes for composing the command in a predetermined encoding procedure, and the command decoding means 71a is configured to execute decoding by exchanging the encoded command in a predetermined decoding procedure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
