PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that makes image quality improved by preventing leakage of light to an adjacent pixel to prevent color mixture between the pixels.SOLUTION: A display device of the present invention includes: a first base plate that is provided with a light-emitting device; a second base plate that is provided with a plurality of color filters; and a filling layer that is provided between the first and second base plates and that includes an object orientation-controlled in a direction approximately perpendicular to a principal plane of the second base plate. The object of the filling layer is a rod-like quantum dot. Additionally, the object of the filling layer is an aggregate of the plurality of quantum dots.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
