PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the temperature overshoot of a fixation belt or the excessive temperature rise in a second area of the fixation belt when the rotation of the fixation belt is stopped.SOLUTION: A fixation device 18 of the present invention comprises: a fixation belt 22 including a central area 45 and a second area; a first movement member 31 that moves between a first shield position for not shielding radiation heat to the central area 45 but shielding radiation heat to the second area and a first retreat position for not shielding radiation heat to the central area 45 and the second area; a second movement member 32 that moves between a second shield position for shielding radiation heat to the central area 45 and the second area and a second retreat position for not shielding radiation heat to the central area 45 and the second area; and a holding member that moves between a first holding position for holding the first movement member 31 at the first shield position and a second holding position for holding the second movement member 32 at the second shield position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
