PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device capable of reducing pre-load and increase of clearance gap in assembling an angular contact ball bearing, and preventing degradation of rotational accuracy.SOLUTION: In a bearing device 1 in which an angular contact ball bearing 10 has an outer ring member 20 provided with an outer ring raceway 21 and a pair of seal grooves 27, 28 on an inner periphery, an inner ring member 30, and a plurality of balls 40, a housing 60 has an outer ring fitting face 63, and a pair of outer ring pressing faces 64, 67 reduced in diameter from both axial end portions of the outer ring fitting face 63 on its inner periphery, the outer ring member 20 is loosely fitted to the outer ring fitting face 63, and a side face 25 of the outer ring member 20 is axially pressed by the pair of outer ring pressing faces 64, 67 to be fixed to the housing 60, an annular groove 29 of which a diameter is radially expanded, is disposed on a region between one seal groove 27 and a large end portion 21a of the outer ring raceway 21, and a maximum diameter of the annular groove 29 is determined to be larger than a maximum diameter of the seal groove 27, so that deformation of the outer ring raceway 21 by being pressed, can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
