PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape retention tool for footwear which has high strength in an insertion opening, does not leave a pressing mark or flaw on an inner sole face of footwear, and has an excellent shape retention property.SOLUTION: The shape retention tool for footwear includes: (i) a front shape retention part, (ii) an insertion port shape retention part, and (iii) a heel shape retention part. (i) The front shape retention part includes: a valley fold line crossing in a width direction; a mountain fold line positioned in a rear side of the valley fold line, crossing in the width direction, and curved so as to protrude backward; and at least two mountain fold lines extending longitudinally toward a toe side with the valley fold line as a starting point. (ii) The insertion port shape retention part includes: a pair of base points symmetrical with respect to a center line and a mountain fold line connecting the base points, positioned on a boundary with the front shape retention part; two pairs of straight-line-shaped folds symmetrical with respect to the center line from each base point to a lateral side edge, the front fold being a mountain fold line and the rear fold being a valley fold line; and a pair of mountain fold lines extending longitudinally from each base point to a boundary with the heel shape retention part. (iii) The heel shape retention part is connected with the insertion port shape retention part via a mountain fold line crossing in the width direction and includes notch lines on both sides of the mountain fold line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
