This optical fiber recoating device is provided with an optical fiber coating unit (M) for curing resin and coating a coating-removed portion of an optical fiber with the cured resin. The optical fiber coating unit (M) comprises a pair of glass members (G1, G2) in which grooves (G11, G21) are formed, respectively, and two bases (BD) on which the pair of glass members (G1, G2) are installed, respectively. A hollow for coating an optical fiber is formed by joining the grooves (G11, G21) of the pair of glass members (G1, G2). At least one of the pair of glass members (G1, G2) has a trapezoid-shaped cross-section along a direction perpendicular to an installation surface (D1) of the base (BD) and is provided with the groove on the side of a short side of the trapezoid shape. The glass members (G1, G2) are secured to the bases (BD) by an oblique surface of the glass members (G1, G2) including oblique sides of the trapezoid shape being pressed. |
