Disclosed are a communication message recognition method and device, which belong to the technical field of data analysis. The communication message recognition method comprises: receiving a communication message, the communication message comprising a text content and a number of a sender sending the communication message; analysing the text content in the communication message, to obtain a user name corresponding to the number of the sender of the communication message; and determining the user name as a name of the sender of the communication message, and displaying the name of the sender in the communication message.
