The invention relates to petroleum processing and can be used in the petroleum production and refining industry to improve petroleum transport conditions and the degree of separation of water-petroleum emulsions. The technical result, namely the dewatering of petroleum, a reduction in pour point, the inhibition of asphalt-tar-paraffin deposits and a decrease in flow resistance as a result of a reduction in dynamic viscosity, is achieved in that in the claimed method for the magnetic treatment of petroleum during processing and transport, which includes introducing a chemical agent into a petroleum stream to improve the rheological properties thereof and magnetically treating the stream by exposure to a constant magnetic field, the duration of the magnetic treatment is 3-60 secs at a magnetic flux density of 0.3-1.0 T. The agent used is a pour point depressant or a demulsifier. |
