PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption of a multiplexer.SOLUTION: A CPRI multiplexer 100 comprises: transmission speed detection units for detecting transmission speed of CPRI signals of three channels; a time division multiplexing unit 16 capable of performing time division multiplexing on part or all of the CPRI signals of three channels to output them; three network side optical modules 18 that are for converting signals from the time division multiplexing unit 16 to optical signals and have different wave lengths; a multiplexing side control unit 22 for controlling time division multiplexing processing of the time division multiplexing unit 16 on the basis of the CPRI signals' transmission speed TRs detected by the transmission speed detection units and transmission speed TRmax capable of being transmitted by the network side optical modules 18, determining a network side optical module 18 that is to output a signal after the time division multiplexing processing, and intercepting energization to the other network side optical modules other than the network side optical module 18 determined as an output destination of the signal; and a wavelength multiplexing unit 20 for multiplexing optical signals from the network side optical modules 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
