PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic endoscope which prevents an O ring provided in a piston from being interfered with an opening of a cylinder while allowing suction operation means including the cylinder and the piston to be switched between the three states, and in which the cylinder can be constituted of one member.SOLUTION: A first piston 50 blocks communication between one end opening of a suction source connection pipeline 30 and the other end openings of suction pipelines 26, 28 when positioned at the suction pipeline first close position, makes the one end opening of the suction source connection pipeline communicate with the other end openings of the suction pipelines when positioned at the suction pipeline open position, and blocks communication between the one end opening of the suction source connection pipeline and the other end openings of the suction pipelines when positioned at the suction pipeline second close position. A second piston 65 brings a second O ring OR2 into contact with the inner peripheral surface of a cylinder 35 when positioned at a balloon suction pipeline close position and separates the second O ring from the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder when positioned at the balloon suction pipeline open position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
