PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of performing optimum brake control depending on situations after a primary collision and capable of shortening a braking distance of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 10 includes: an automatic brake control part 60 that generates a braking force in a collision of a vehicle; a vehicle speed sensor 24 that detects a vehicle speed of a vehicle; and a braking force control unit 22. The braking force control unit 22 increases the braking force in the case where a change of the vehicle speed after a primary collision of the vehicle falls within predetermined values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
