PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe and an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which can change and adjust an imaging range without deteriorating usability with a simpler constitution.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe comprises: a plurality of vibrators 210a, 210b, 210c which are arrayed at least in a prescribed first direction and transmit the ultrasonic waves to a subject and receive the reflection waves; a convergence part 22 which converges the ultrasonic waves transmitted/received to/from the plurality of vibrators in the first direction; switching elements 230a, 230b, 230c which turn off transmission/reception of the ultrasonic wave of a portion of the plurality of vibrators arrayed in the first direction; and a direction switch setting part 240 which deflects the transmission/reception direction of the ultrasonic waves of the plurality of vibrators 230a, 230b, 230c to the first direction by switching on/off of the switching elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
