The invention relates to a hole former provided for being used in a mold half (16) of an injection mold. In order to make the introduction of cavities in plastic injection-molded parts easier and to improve the quality of the produced components, the hole former according to the invention has a housing (12), in which an actuating element (24) having a pressure surface (26) and a blade (20) having a cutting edge (22) are arranged, wherein the actuating element (24) and the blade are coupled to each other in such a way that, as the actuating element (24) is pressed inward in the housing (12), the blade (20) is moved out of the housing. |
